What’s new in Gym Buddy 1.7?   02/23/09

The main addition to 1.7 is the introduction of the Body Chart.  It graphs your weight and lean body mass together, or your BMI and body fat %.  You can select the scale between one month, 3 months, or a year, and it scrolls to view prior months, etc.

The Body Calculator screen has been refined some.  The neat thing about is that it allows you to just save your weight if you don’t have a measuring tape handy, perhaps on a daily basis, then every so often you can save all your measurements.  Of course, all entries are fully editable including date.

The Gender and Units settings were moved to a redesigned Settings menu.  As always, you get to this screen from the root view of the Workout tab by touching the ‘sprocket’ in the navigation bar.

The countdown timer buttons were a little hard to hit, so I’ve made them taller.  They actually extend above the viewable image, so try aiming high.

Emails will now send in chronological order.  An obvious thing that was overlooked and overdue.  Version 1.8 will allow the sending of your body measurement history.

Many cool things are on deck, as I am committed to making Gym Buddy the best workout log ever.
